How to detect the electrolytic capacitor?

The operation of electrolytic capacitor detection is as follows:
Turn the multimeter to R × 1k block, and connect the two test leads to the two wire ends of the capacitor. Pay attention to the swing of the hands.
When the normal capacitor is detected, the hands first swing to the right with a large amplitude, and then slowly return to the near left starting position (resistance infinity). When detecting the capacitor, if the needle does not move, it indicates that there is an open circuit inside the capacitor.} If the needle swings to the right to zero ohm position, it will not return, indicating that there is a short circuit in the capacitor
After the hands are swung to the right, they cannot be returned to the infinite position of the resistor, indicating that the capacitor is leaking.
The angle at which the hands swing to the right is small, indicating that the capacity of the capacitor has decreased. In the above cases, the capacitors under test can no longer be used.
